Battle
For the first time, take full control of a Servant and battle through enemy programs using a combination of heavy and light attacks. Take control of the enemy's sectors to complete the Regime Matrix, forcing the Boss to appear and engaging them in battle to achieve victory. Before starting each stage, a player can select the difficulty level, from Easy to Very Hard (available only after the story has been completely beaten once). Fighting on higher difficulty levels grants better Install Skills and Mystic Codes.
Battle
A Servant's trump card and their most powerful attack. When three Phantasm Circuits are collected, this attack can be unleashed with devastating results. Enemy Servants will also attempt to use their own Noble Phantasms to claim victory for themselves.
Battle
Proof of the contract between the Master and their Servant. These seals, gifted in sets of three, can be used during battle to help boost a Servant. Use one to command a Servant to keep fighting after their health has been depleted, or use all three to restore health and enhance a Servant's abilities for a short period of time.
Battle
A special form change that boosts a Servant's stats for a short period. When the gauge in the lower left-hand corner fills, activate this change to not only increase attack power, but also gain the Guard Break ability, allowing the opponent's defenses to be easily pierced.
Battle
Replay stages that have already been cleared as a favorite Servant. Players can also select the enemy Servant that they wish to battle, allowing long-held dreams of clashes between certain Heroic Spirits to come to life on the Extella stage!
Battle
Every blow a servant lands will count toward his or her Extella Maneuver gauge. The Extella Manuever is a special skill that can deal a large amount of damage to a wide swath of enemy programs.
Battle
The Master cannot fight directly, but can support his or her Servant by using Code Casts. These spells have a variety of different effects, such as healing or switching out to the second-in-command Servant. These spells can be adjusted by equipping different "Mystic Codes."
Battle
Pieces of clothing that enable a Master to support his or her Servant with various abilities. Masters and Servants can earn Mystic Codes in battle, and Masters can also CRAFT them using QP (currency in the virtual world of Extella) and Upgrade Parts. Masters can also disassemble unwanted Mystic Codes, breaking them down into more QP.
Battle
Servants can bolster their stats and abilities by adding these Skills to their code. There are three different types:
Red: Attack-based Skills, such as increasing the power of a Servant's Noble Phantasm or
adding elemental damage (such as lightning) to normal attacks.
Blue: Defense-focused Skills, including raising a Servant's defense or their resistance to elemental attacks.
Yellow: Auxiliary Skills, like increasing item drop rate or running speed.
Skills of the same category will receive a boost when properly connected in a Servant's neural network. Unneeded Skills can be disassembled to receive QP.
Battle
The story of Fate/EXTELLA takes place on SE.RA.PH, an ever-evolving landscape. Each of the three main Servants has her own territory, which reflects the ideals of its ruler. There are other territories as well, waiting to be claimed by the strongest ruler – if any ruler dares to tread upon them.
Mare Aurum: The Capital of the Roses and Nero's territory, showcasing the majesty of Rome.
Mare Luxuria: The Capital of Lust, Tamamo's kingdom.
Mare Melum: The mysterious City of Lost Destiny.
Mare Origo: A primitive and chaotic world ruled by Top Servants.
Each territory is divided into sectors, shown on the mini-map. During battle, enemy Servants will invade and try to conquer sectors and take over the territory. Enemies will also deploy traps, such as "Servant Slammers," to make it difficult to maintain control.
Items: Healing foods and other beneficial items are scattered throughout each stage, some hidden in containers, others carried by enemies.
Battle
A Servant will level up by fighting in battles, thereby mastering more powerful moves and combinations.
My Room
Spend time with your Servant in between battles in "My Room." Here, you can talk to your Servant and strengthen the bonds between the two of you – if you play your cards right.
My Room
You can also strengthen the bonds between the Master and various Servants by completing Side Missions. Before each stage, Servants may offer up to five challenges, from, "Eat X number of Yakisoba pan" to, "Defeat X number of Aggressors." Completing these requests during the stage will raise the bond level with that Servant.
